About Desiree

I am Desiree Buchanan a professional makeup artist living in Long Beach, CA. I was born and raised in Compton, CA. There I realized that I was rare, unique, and creative. Growing up in Compton was not easy, at a young age I had to choose who I was going to be. I was either going to be in the streets, or getting a better education; I chose getting a better education.  

 

Seeing how different I was I had to learn how to accept my beauty, I call it my rare beautii. When I started getting into makeup, I fell in love. I decided to go to makeup school in 2015, and become a certified professional makeup artist. I fell in love with makeup even more. Makeup brought out my rare beautii, and I vowed to make sure I help my clients find their rare beauty too.
